Saturday Macey was full of energy and helping with yardwork. She also got her bike out to ride for the first time in two years. Well obviously this did not agree with ye ole stomach. Last night around 11 she started having bad stomach cramps and needed the heating pad. This lasted through the night and this morning she did not look real sharp. Very pale and heart was beating faster than I liked but all she wanted to do was curl up in the bed with her heating blanket.
She asked if she could stay home from church and just rest. Les and I went on and called towards the end of the service to check on her. Her voice was so weak on the phone but she assured us that she was fine and to go enjoy a good lunch. But she didn't want us to bring her back anything to eat.
She stayed in bed awhile longer after we came home from lunch. Then she decided it was time to get up and do her subq infusion. That didn't seem to agree with her stomach either and this was the first week she's approached us about moving sites. I've tried to talk her into moving to her upper arms or thighs for months now but she would have no part of it. It seems that she's getting so tender in her abdomen that it seems the worse of the two evils to just move the needles and pump into a different area. Plus she thinks the Elemax isn't absorbing as well in the areas she's using because she's been sticking in that particular spot for so long.
We'll see if she's still game next weekend.
